संकुचित पल

संकुचित हैं कितने, ये पल आज दिन के,
बातों ही बातों में बीते, कैसे ये पल आज दिन के!

गर होते अंतराल, जो लम्बे से इस पल के,
तुम इठलाती-इतराती, अनथक सी करती फिर बातें,
रोक लेता तुम्हे मैं, उन अवलम्बित से पलों में ,
जिद जल्दी जाने की, तुम हमसे ना करते।

शरद ऋतु में जैसै, कुम्हलाया है ये पल भी,
कुछ कह दो अपने मन की, जाने वाला है ये पल भी,
विस्तार दे दो तुम इनको, देकर धड़कन की गर्मी,
सिमटकर बातों में तेरी, थम जाएगा ये पल भी।

ऐ पल! तू आकर बिखर, ठहर प्रहर दो प्रहर,
आ लेकर मीठी यादें, दे जा कुछ साँसों की सौगातें,
रोक लूँ अपने दिलवर को, बैठा लूँ बाँहें पकड़,
लम्बे हों बातों के पल, पल-पल फिर बीते ना प्रहर।

बिता लूँ मैं इस पल में जीवन, बाहों में तेरे,
क्या जाने फिर मिले ना मिले, ये पल, ये बाहों के घेरे,
सिमटते पलों की परिधि में, आओ हम ऐसे मिले,
जीवन के ये पलक्षिण, बिखरे साँसों संग तेरे।

संकुचित हैं कितने, ये पल आज दिन के,
